Healthy Habit #12-Kitchen Dance

Today I challenge you to bring on the music and dance to one song everyday!

I love this habit for us mamas, mainly because I know it will be so much fun for teddy:)

This is our fitness habit for the week and it is great for busy mamas or mamas with VERY attached babies, but it is also a challenge to bring more music into you and your babies lives.  Music lifts our hearts and souls and listening is a great way to de-stress.  People who work out to music actually work out harder without realizing it.  Music has a profound impact on our emotions.  When you are having a rough day, put it on and dance around with your baby to release your emotions.  Studies have found that music therapy is a pain reliever!

How to do it:
Make time each day to turn up the tunes and dance to one song anywhere in your home-preferably with your baby.  The goal is to dance for at least five minutes a day but the longer the better.  You can make it a habit to dance while preparing dinner each night, or to take a quick break from your chores or with the whole fam before bedtime!

This habit will be so much fun!
