Healthy Habit #9-Take Care Of Mommy!

This is our first self challenge.  It's just for you to feel good about yourself!!  If you don't accept this challenge, you won't be unfit or unhealthy, but if you do accept this challenge you will be making an effort to make time for you, which will help you feel good about yourself each day!!

Today I challenge you to cleanse and moisturize your skin daily. It will help us look younger, make us feel refreshed when we are sleep deprived and boost our self confidence for the day.Here's some tips on staying clean and moist.
Use a loofah sponge to exfoliate
Finish your shower with a quick cold water rinse to close your pores
Apply lotion within 3 minutes of your shower to lock in the moisture
Every other day you can use a mild scrub like oatmeal or apricot to remove excess dead skin and dirt.
Use cool-warm water when washing your face-hot water will wash away your natural oils
Splash with cold water after your done washing to close your pores
Skin toners will bring your skin back to it's natural PH level
Use a moisturizer with at least spf 15 that protects from uva and uvb rays
Anti-aging products should contain alpha hydroxy acid, vitamin C, vitamin A or Retin A, Vitamin E, Q-10 and antioxidants.
summer heat brings out our natural body oils so use a lighter moisturizer in the summer than in the winter
Moisturize your hands after each washing
Tips for your specific skin type

Try creating a full washing/cleansing routine each morning to start your day and before bed each night.
